Not as roomy as typical backpack

Not sure if I like this style. Definitely can fit items better in a traditional backpack. I'm the type or traveler/packer that needs to throw things in last minute. Bc this style is more narrow, and probably best suited for just packing and not accessing during your trip, I'm not a fan. Everything was well made and features were great, just not my cup of tea. The clothing area was smaller than I expected...due to narrow design.

Perfect size

Can’t wait to travel Europe with my new backpack. Hopefully that it will live up to its expectations.

Great backpack with multiple compartments. Except for shoe area

Everything is perfect woth this backpack. Very roomie for 3 day trip. The only thing That did not work out for me was the shoe compartment, does not fit shoe size US 10.5”

What a sweet pack. The vx21 material is light and durable, and adds a bit of rigidity to the bag so it doesnt just fold in on itself when not super full. The pockets and organization is very well thought out. Agree with the below review, the bungee isn't overly useful in its standard layout but this is easily fixed/customized to your liking thanks to all the webbing loops. I've got a couple bags I spent far too much money on that im not as happy with as i am with this bag. Great capacity, looks sweet, not bulky, and very functional. well done, Dakine :) !

Good capacity, sleek design

I bought this to hold a large camera lens along with everything else I need for week-long trips. It does indeed have the capacity for that. It is sturdy, so I can fill it to capacity without feeling like the zippers are stressed. There is enough organization without compromising the space in the large compartments. It looks great as well. What I wish was different: the side handle is nice to carry, but it would be better if the straps could be tucked. When I packed a couple camera lenses and a laptop all at once it was heavy enough that I wish it had waist straps. Finally, the elastic on the back is nice but just extremely poorly thought-out: make it an X so it can actually hold things. I will probably re-run the elastic: the bag has a reasonable number of attachment points for carabiners, etc., so it won't be a problem. Overall I really like this bag. I spent weeks looking for something near a 30L size, chose this, and am satisfied. If you want a quality clamshell at a reasonable price that looks great, then you should buy this. (And a separate small length of elastic.)

Little Small for Long Weekend

Bought to use as a long weekend bag. Using the shoe compartment the total volume was a little small for that. Think the 38 would be better sized for that. Functionality of the bag is great though.

Exactly what I wanted and a little more

I was looking for a travel bag that could comfortable hold my 15 inch laptop, charger, and headphones. The different compartments that it has fits my thing perfectly. The only thing that was disappointing was that the size of the bottle holder is on the small side and larger water bottles would not fit.
