Solid but runs small
These are solid construction and I am looking forward to getting out on the trail with them. They do run small, I got the Slayer Elbow Sleeve in a Small and the Slayer Knee Sleeve in a Medium (also tried a small, couldn't begin to get it over my calf). These are non-gender, for context on sizing, I am a thin framed female, 5'6" and 127 lbs... and they are both TIGHT. I also heard a thread pop when pulling on the Medium Knee, but one needs to "push" up from the bottom of the pad as well as pull; kind of shimmy them up. One will want them tight and fitted when riding, but just be thoughtful on getting them on and off. I like the protection AND mobility this style offers.
Great for Airsoft
Read my kneepad review.
Love them
Nice and light. just enough protection and very comfortable you forget you’re wearing elbow pads
Tight Fit and DK Impact Protection
Slim fitting - first time putting them on heard some ripping in the seams - hope that they “open” up a little after further use. Haven’t smashed the ‘bow yet but with the DK impact will know that I will be alright!
Slayer bike elbow sleeve seems to be light and comfy
I have ridden a couple of times with these pads. I have found them to be lighter and easier to pedal in than my previous, I like that you can remove them without taking off your shoes. I havent hit the dirt yet, but they seem durable enough. I am a little concerned that the Velcro may wear out early because it sticks so well.
Love those elbows
Great fit, super comfortable, looking forward to more rides in cooler weather as they add some extra warmth. Fits well and great protection!
Great moveability
Awesome kneepad but just a tad bit tight. I tried comparing myself to others in the reviews and looked extensively at the sizing but unfortunately the pair I got (medium) are really tight for me, I'm 5,9 155 lbs but I guess I just have thicc boy knees. They take a solid two minutes to put on and hurt a bit and almost feel like they're going to snap so I know they're too small, however they work perfectly for my partner so she'll keep them. Otherwise I actually loved the material and feel. Most people say go small on pads and big on clothes for biking but this was just a bit to small for me.
sizing info off
I found that the sizing info was inaccurate. Order a size up!
Nicely fitting pad, Not too bulky
I haven’t crashed with this pad yet, but I expect it will do a good job if I do crash. The sizing is snug, so be sure to use the fitting guide. I’m a small guy (160 pounds, 5’9”, so light upper build) and the medium pads are quite snug. But I would not have gotten large. Stays in place perfectly, and is low profile. Don’t have to think about it.
